Mosaics are an ancient art form created by using stones, glass or found objects called tesserae and applying them to a surface. Mosaic Mondays are designed to introduce mosaics as art by introducing students to the use of tools to shape a variety of tesserae and materials to adhere the tesserae to a base to create a work of art by the end of the four week session. The $90 fee includes use of tools and all materials. Classes are held during the day from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
